I want to develop along side Ansu Fati and Riqui Puig: Barcelona new boy Pedri

Barcelona new boy Pedri will join Barca for the pre-season once the Champions League is over and isn't worried about the additional pressure put on youngsters at Blaugrana.

He is excited to get to work beside Ansu Fati and Riqui Puig.

"[The pressure] doesn't worry me at all. In fact, it's the opposite.

I think it's nice that the fans are excited by young players who are desperate to prove themselves to the world," Pedri has told Diario Sport.

"I'm sure those youngsters are going to respond. You see Riqui Puig play, Ansu Fati, and they are spectacular — you've seen it this season. They have so much quality. It would be incredible to develop at Barcelona alongside them."

The 17-year-old will join the Catalans once the Champions League is over.

The youngster's goal is to get a place at the first team but doesn't exclude going on loan if Blaugrana think he's not ready to compete at the highest level.
