Ivan Rakitic hint at Barcelona exit: 'Maybe David Beckham will call me'

Rakitic commented on the growth of football in MLS. The midfielder didn't rule out the possibility of joining David Beckham's Inter Miami.

"Maybe David Beckham will call me," Rakitic was quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

"You can really see that soccer is gaining more and more attention each year in the United States.

"I think it is really special to see the possibility of how football can continue to rise. Now you can watch an MLS game and say 'oh yes, I want to see it," Rakitic added.

The Croatian's contract at Camp Nou will expire in the summer of 2021 and he's already been linked with several clubs including Sevilla and Inter Milan.
