Leeds United want Manchester United Second choice Goal keeper Sergio Romero

Leeds are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper and have identified Romero as a potential option.

The newly promoted side are believed to be keen on signing Manchester United's second-choice goalkeeper Sergio Romero, according to The Athletic's Phil Hay.

The Whites are looking to bolster their ranks with a Premier League-proven player and have picked Romero as a viable target.

The Argentine has been quite reliable for us over the years and his clean sheet record for United in the FA Cup is rather impressive.

Now, the Red Devils are aiming to offload numerous players in the upcoming transfer window but selling Romero seems to be out of the question right now - and to a rival club.

With David De Gea struggling in goal, United have a tough decision to make with Dean Henderson openly proclaiming his desire to bag the No.1 spot.
