Leroy Sane might have confirm Havertz's Chelsea move in interview

Bayern Munich new signing  Leroy Same might have accidentally let some possibly confidential slip up and it's good news for the Blues!

Bayern Munich’s new signing Leroy Sane spoke at a press conference today and appeared to all but confirm Kai Havertz would be sealing a transfer to Chelsea.

The former Manchester City winger was speaking to the media in German and one Twitter user @Laus1507 has been kind enough to translate the player's statements.

German is my first language, so believe me when I tell you those quotes are essentially correct.

Word for word translation would be along the lines of: “With Timo Werner & Kai Havertz, 2 Germans in 1 year, I think Chelsea might‘ve done well to get a hold of (them).“#Sane #CFC https://t.co/nhJ8podwie

Speaking of Chelsea, Sane said: "With Timo Werner & Kai Havertz, 2 Germans in 1 year, I think Chelsea might‘ve done well to get a hold of (them)."

Well, well, well! Although it was earlier reported by The Athletic that a transfer is all but done and just the final details of payment remain to be settled with Bayer Leverkusen, Sane definitely knows something that we don't - except, now we do!

However, the user added that this might not be a 1000% confirmation as the word "might" is important here.

His tweet adds: "He does say the word “vielleicht“ which in simple translation means “maybe“ but in my opinion in this context should be translated to “might“, and that to me not the same as 'maybe'. But it‘s no 100% confirmation of anything. Especially with how the question was put to him."

Well, regardless of whether or not Sane is an undercover transfer expert, it does seem more and more likely that the talented Havertz will be heading to Stamford Bridge soon - and we can't wait!
