Madrid president Perez confirms club financial struggle this transfer window

Club President Florentino Perez Real Madrid - one of the richest clubs in the world will also not make any big transfers this summer.

Perez claims that it's not possible to handle big signings when clubs have to lower players' salaries.

"There will be no big signings this summer, the situation is bad," Florentino Perez said after Real Madrid won La Liga championship on Thursday.

"You can’t ask the players to lower their salary and then make signings of that type."

Bear in mind that Real Madrid are one the richest (if not the richest) football club in the world and even they can not afford to splash cash this summer. So, maybe we should go easier on FSG.

Several sources have confirmed that Liverpool will not spend big this summer again because of the financial limitations caused by the pandemic.
