OFFICIAL: Liverpool young star Adam Lewis signs new long-term contract

The Reds have penned down a contract with another promising Academy prospect.

Academy graduate Adam Lewis joins the ever-growing list of Liverpool youngsters who have committed their future to the Reds with a new contract.

James Pearce adds that Adam will most likely spend the next season on loan.

Lewis has been with the Reds since U6 level and even progressed to captain the U18s back when Steven Gerrard was their manager. He was a part of Liverpool's pre-season tour last summer featuring against Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla.

The lad is constantly training with the senior team at Melwood and made his debut for Liverpool's first-team back in February in the FA Cup fourth-round replay win over Shrewsbury Town at Anfield.
