Quique Setien: I see myself training Barca next season

Quique Setien says he believes he will still be the head coach of Barcelona next season and also what matters most is not the results but the perception of his work.

Still, he concedes more could still be achieved this term.

"Of course I see myself training Barca next season," Quique Setien announced during the press conference ahead of the Osasuna game earlier on Wednesday.

On Barca's recent struggles under his guidance, the coach added, as quoted by Diario Sport: "The reality is that sometimes you don't reach the ambitions you have.

"It's not just the result, but the perception of whether the work being done is good or not."

The coach concluded: "More could be achieved still, but of course I am thinking about continuing next season."

Quique Setien has been in charge of Barcelona since mid-January, registering 14 wins, 4 draws and 3 defeats during this run.

Under his guidance, Barca got eliminated from the Copa del Rey and could possibly lose the final chance to reclaim the La Liga title already this Thursday.
