Ronaldinho: I would have loved to continue playing alongside Messi

Ronaldinho and Messi played together for five years before the Brazilian wonder man left for Milan in 2008.

"I would have loved to continue playing alongside Messi," said Ronaldinho,as quoted by Sport Bible.

"I didn't get enough time with him, he was very young. I'd love to take to the pitch with him one more time.

"He's the best in history, no doubt. Nobody has done what Messi's done. The other one [Ronaldo] is complete, he has it all. So does Messi, but it's a question of taste and I prefer Messi's style."

It was the Brazilian ace who helped the then 17-year-old Messi settle in at Barcelona, who eventually replaced him at the club. Ronaldinho even assisted Leo for his first goal in the Blaugrana jersey.

The duo played together for five years between 2003 and 2008.
