Sandro Rosell on Neymar's exit: His mistake made both him and Barcelona suffer

He believes the Catalans could have won more Champions Leagues if he had stayed.

"Absolutely. It was a huge mistake of his," Sandro Rosell told L'Esportiu when asked whether Neymar's decision to leave for Paris Saint-Germain was wrong.

The former president explained: "He and Barca both suffered from it. Barca could've won two more Champions Leagues and he would have been one step away from being the best player in the world."

The Brazilian winger joined PSG in the record-breaking €222m move in the summer of 2017.

Neymar has suffered multiple injuries at his new club while the Catalans haven't managed to sign a proper replacement ever since.
