Solskjaer on FA Cup: 'It's not fair Chelsea is getting extra rest ahead us

Manchester United coach Solskjaer is not pleased about Chelsea getting extra rest ahead of FA Cup semi-final.

Ole believes the schedules for United and Chelsea are a little unfair.

"We spoke about a fair scheduling going into this restart and of course it isn't," he rued.

In the pre-match press conference ahead of the Crystal Palace clash, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "There is a concern, obviously, that they will have had 48 hours' more rest and recovery than us.

"It's not fair. We spoke about a fair scheduling going into this restart and of course, it isn't.

"But I have to think about Thursday [against Crystal Palace], winning that one, focusing on that one, and then pick up the pieces after that."

Right after facing the Eagles, Manchester United must prepare to face Chelsea in a tough FA Cup semi-final.

The Blues will have a 48-hour rest between their recent tie against Norwich City on Tuesday and the semi-final but that's not the case with us.

United managed to keep their squad free from injuries for a fair amount of time but Luke Shaw, Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood have all picked up knocks.
