We want Barca made of mainly La Masia graduates: Presidential candidate Victor Font

Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font stresses that the backbone of Barca should be formed from home-grown talent.

The candidate also believes that it's important to keep our legends at the club after their retirement.
"The first objective we have is to be able to continue counting on Leo Messi once he stops playing.

Our greatest hope would be to have a team made up mainly of players trained at the club itself," Victor Font has recently said.

"This means betting on the style that Johan Cruyff left us and practising it from Benjamin A (U9) to the first team.

Only those players who clearly make the difference and fit into Barca's model should be signed. These will be the investments that can make real sense."

Font has announced that he will be running for office at the next elections which are planned for June 2021. He wants to build a Barcelona that will have its legends working in administration or become coaches.

As the Catalan entrepreneur has revealed, the cornerstone of his project is going to be Xavi.
