Former Bayern player Ze Roberto explains why Brazilian kids like Leo Messi more than Neymar, he
claims that Leo's playing style is closer to the way Brazilians play football.

"Leo Messi is one of the best players in football history alongside Pele and Maradona.

"In Brazil, there are lots of kids that like Messi more than Neymar because the way Messi plays is very similar to how Brazilians play," former Bayern Munich player Ze Roberto has told TyC Sports.

The 46-year-old was then asked to compare Leo and Maradona and the former Brazil international didn't hesitate to say what he felt was true.

"Compare Messi and Maradona? I've played against him (Messi) and I've seen him be named the best player in the world five times. That's why I stick with Messi. He's kept a high level for more than 10 years."

Messi is currently going through his worst seasons in terms of goals scored since 2007/08. Still, he is the player with most goals and assists per minutes played alongside Robert Lewandowski.
