Arsenal boss Arteta purchase £20,000 guard dog to protect his home

The Arsenal head coach has been pictured with a Dutch Shepherd, trained to protect homes from intruders.

Former Gunner Jack Wilshere, now at West Ham, earlier obtained a safety hound for his London home.

Perhaps the Englishman informed his former Arsenal teammate of company Elite Protection Dogs which provides guard 'superdogs' for 'elite people'.

Football personalities are often targeted for theft due to their wealth.

For example, Spurs midfielder Dele Alli was held at a gunpoint by raiders who broke into his home in May.

The Englishman hired a security dog to keep himself safe.

As per the Daily Mail, other prominent footballers who have bought canines for safety are Paul Pogba, Hugo Lloris and Jack Grealish.
