Aubameyang has rejected 2 bids to accept Arsenal's contract extension offer

Auba's present contract expires next summer and the Gunners are set to reward him a bumper new deal.

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Arsenal are close reaching an agreement on a contract renewal with the striker.

Top-tier Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, has provided interesting details on Arsenal's contract talks with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

There's no surprise that other clubs are monitoring his situation as the striker has just 1 year left on his present deal. Roman states that the 31-year-old has snubbed approaches from two clubs to stay at the Emirates.

On Saturday, after the win over Liverpool, the manager has assured that Arsenal are really close to extending the 31-year-old's deal.

When the striker was asked about renewing his contract, he replied: "We’re gonna see. Today, we take the trophy. We are improving and there’s still work to do.

But I’m really happy and it’s a really exciting time to be an Arsenal player."

As per the Telegraph, the Gunners are set to offer a deal worth in excess of £250,000-a-week basic salary plus bonuses, which will run until 2023.
