Aubameyang set new Record, First African player to captain a side in FA Cup final

Arsenal Striker Aubameyang inspired the Gunners to the 14th victory in our favourite competition.

At the age of 31, Pierre-Emerick is the oldest player to find the net for Arsenal in a FA Cup final since 1932.

After playing his first game for the Gunners back in 2018, Auba has scored 70 goals – more than any other Premier League player, with Mo Salah finding the net 68 times.

Aubameyang is the first African player to start a FA Cup final game as a captain of his side.

The Gabonese is the first man to score two goals in the FA Cup final after bagging a brace in the semi-final after Ian Rush did that for Liverpool back in 1986.
