Barca boss Koeman has list 5 positions he wants to strengthen this transfer window

After showing the door to four first-team players, the Dutchman is looking to add more depth to the squad.

During his meeting with sporting director Ramon Planes, Ronald Koeman has named five positions that he believes need reinforcements, Mundo Deportivo claim.

The Dutchman wants the club to sign a centre-back, a right-back to compete with Nelson Semedo, a left-back in case Junior Firpo leaves, a physical midfielder and a striker.

Pervis Estupinan and Rayan Ait-Nouri are said to be options at left-back.

Barcelona are also interested in Donny van de Beek and Fabian Ruiz but they might prove to be too expensive for the club to afford.

As for the remaining positions, the Catalans have been linked with free agent Malang Sarr (centre-back) and Lautaro Martinez (striker).

Meanwhile, it's said that Koeman has already told Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti that he doesn't count on them.
