Barcelona 2 reasons for declaring Nelson Semedo non-transferable

There were rumours that Barca even consider offering him a new contract.

Nelson Semedo, to the surprise of many, is one of the few untouchable players in Barcelona's squad, and Diario Sport reveal the two reasons for that.

First of all, the Catalans are impressed with his progress over the season, especially with the improvement of his end product.

This term, the Portuguese has recorded one goal and six assists in 42 matches for the Catalans.

For comparison, Semedo recorded only one goal and five assists across his first two seasons at the club.

And second, Blaugrana count that the right-back will improve even further, considering that he's only 26 years old.

Alongside Nelson, Ousmane Dembele, Frenkie de Jong, Antoine Griezmann, Leo Messi, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Clement Lenglet have also been declared non-transferable.
