Barcelona academy director Kluivert congratulate Koeman on his appointment

Barcelona academy director Patrick Kluivert has welcomed the arrival of Ronald Koeman as senior coach.

The pair are former teammates.

"I'm very happy for Ronald. It's a dream come true for him. I believe it's fantastic for both him and Barça," Kluivert told De Telegraaf.

“I believe with his ability that Ronald is at the right place here at Barça. He knows the club, its philosophy and what is happening.

"I believe his arrival is a very big positive."
