Barcelona board members not in favour of Pochettino's arrival

Barcelona's board members believe that Mauricio Pochettino can't take over at Camp Nou, as per Carrusel (Cadena SER).

The main reason is the Argentine's past (player and manager at Espanyol) and his toxic comments about managing Barca ("I would rather work on my farm in Argentina than manage Barcelona" – Diario AS).

The board also believe that the fans won't approve of such an appointment.

As soon as Barcelona lost to Bayern 8-2, Pochettino was named the top candidate to replace Quique Setien.

However, in less than two days, there's a turn of events as the Netherlands' Ronald Koeman is now expected to take over.
