Barcelona defender Pique reveals the club needs structural changes and will be first to step down

Pique suggests that the changes need to start from Barca's offices.

The defender says he's ready to leave if this means Blaugrana make a step forward.

“It’s an embarrassment. We can’t be in Europe like this. The club needs changes, structural ones, not players or managers," Gerard Pique has told the press following the embarrassing 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich.

"I’m the first to leave if new blood is needed, because now, we’ve hit rock bottom. We can’t keep covering it up any longer.

"Horrible game, dreadful feeling. Shameful. It is very hard. It is not the first time, nor the second, nor the third. Changes are needed," the 33-year-old finished.

After going out of the Champions League, the Catalans finish the season trophyless for the first time since 2008.
