Barcelona President Bartomeu has refuses to attend Trincao's press conference

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has decided against attending Francisco Trincao's press conference.

The Portuguese was officially presented as a Barca player at Camp Nou on Wednesday.

Bartomeu was present at the winger's unveiling but refused to speak to the press after it as technical director Ramon Planes is set to attend the presser instead of the president.

The reason for Bartomeu's absence is obvious - he doesn't want to answer any questions about Lionel Messi who handed in a transfer request earlier this week.

What's more, the president has no intention to step down right now despite the latest twist in the Messi exit saga.
