Barcelona presidential candidates to attend pre-election debate to force early elections

Most of the presidential candidates are set to attend the pre-election debate on a TV3 show later on Sunday.

Their goal is to make the first step towards the earlier elections.

As said by ARA, former Barcelona president Joan Laporta has withdrawn from the debate as he 'prefers to keep quiet'.

Victor Font, Toni Freixa and Emili Rousaud are expected to be present.

On Monday, the board will hold a meeting where they're likely to discuss the date of the 2021 presidential elections.

According to the latest reports, they could be shifted from summer 2021 to March or even January 2021.
