Barcelona won't pay Liverpool if Coutinho wins Champions League with Bayern

Barcelona won't have to to pay Liverpool if Philippe Coutinho wins the Champions League with Bayern, Mundo Deportivo have just assured.

Earlier, the Mirror made a bold claim that the Catalans would have to pay a further €5m if the Brazilian wins the most prestigious trophy regardless of which club he plays for.

The Catalan source add that there is indeed a clause which ensures a payout for Liverpool if Coutinho earns the European glory but only with Barca.

This season, Coutinho has recorded 11 goals and nine assists in 36 matches for Bayern.

The Brazilian scored 2 goals and assisted 1 more as he came on from the bench to shock his parent club in the infamous Champions League disaster last week.
