Bartomeu confirms no multi-million moves For Barcelona for 3-4 years: Is everything SO bad

The president hopes that the clubs will agree on swap deals and it will take Barcelona three to four years to overcome the financial crises. 

It will take about 3 or 4 years for Barca to adapt to the financial difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Bartomeu adds.

When asked whether there'll be no big-money moves to Barcelona in the near future, Josep Maria Bartomeu replied: "I believe so. Or at least there will be more swap deals. All the big European clubs have been impacted by this and we are all working to adapt. This won't be for just one year, it could be for up to 3-4 years."

Earlier on, the president revealed that the Catalans had suffered the most during the coronavirus pandemic. In his latest interview with Diario Sport, the Barca official admitted that the club had lost €200m.

As for now, Blaugrana haven't yet made a single swap deal. According to reports, it's Ivan Rakitic who could be swapped for Juventus' Rodrigo Bentancur this summer while Nelson Semedo could possibly leave for Man City so that Barca could get Joao Cancelo in return.
