Bartomeu reveals Barcelona financial damage with 200m lost amid coronavirus pandemic

Bartomeu has once again hints that the club is in a worrying financial state.

"We will end the season with a loss. The revenues were €200m less than predicted [because of the pandemic]," Josep Maria Bartomeu has revealed in a talk with the club's official website.

Earlier on, the president stated that Barcelona had suffered from the pandemic the most.

He also warned that there would possibly be no multi-million moves in 3 or 4 years to come.

The players and the staff were forced to take a 70 per cent pay cut in March in order to balance the books.
