Borussia Dortmund sporting director confident that Reinier will be perfect fit for Bundesliga

Michael Zorc is confident that the Brazilian will not be intimidated by a move to Dortmund at his age.

He indicates that Reinier believes in his ability to thrive that can help him succeed in Germany.

When asked about whether Reinier Jesus will be able to handle the pressure of a loan move to Borussia Dortmund at the age of 18, the club’s sporting director Michael Zorc told Kicker: “Reinier Jesus?

When someone makes the leap to Europe & joins Real Madrid at the age of 18, we can imagine that they're not afraid.

“They're confident and believes in their quality. It fits especially in Germany.”

The good thing for Jesus is that the last player who was loaned from Real Madrid to Dortmund (Achraf Hakimi) developed into one of the best youngsters in Europe.

He’s joined a side that isn’t afraid of giving young players their opportunities and their free-flowing style will be perfect for an exciting talent like him.

Reinier has joined the Bundesliga side on a two-year loan deal, so he’ll be focussed on having a wonderful spell and impressing Los Blancos enough to hand him a starting spot once he returns to the Santiago Bernabeu.
