Check out the amount Manchester United paid Sanchez to terminate contract before Inter move
Man United had to give Alexis Sanchez a payoff of around £7.5m to make it possible for him to complete a free transfer to Inter Milan, according to the Guardian.
But on the much brighter side, United will now be able to save up to £40m on his wages – an amount that can be invested in signing another player!
The Red Devils are said to have been covering the majority of Sanchez’s £390,000-a-week salary since August when he was at Inter, but the Italian club will now fully pay him that amount in his first year as a permanent signing.
Alexis had a terrible career at Old Trafford, scoring just 5 goals in 45 appearances and causing a lot of frustrations since arriving from Arsenal in 2018.
