Chelsea target Havertz will play in Europa League this Thursday confirmed

Kai Havertz will feature for Bayer Leverkusen in their Europa League tie against Rangers on Thursday, August 6.

This has been confirmed by his manager Peter Bosz who is confident that the Chelsea target is fully motivated to play for the Bundesliga side.

“I will answer these questions very shortly,” Bosz said at a press conference as quoted by the Independent. “Yes, he will play and yes I’m convinced he’s 100 per cent still fighting for Leverkusen.”

It means that it's highly likely that any deal between Bayer and Chelsea will have to wait until the end of the Germans' run in the Europa League.

As they won the first game 3-1 away at Rangers, it might take some time before Bayer will finally be ready to let their most prised asset go.
