Chelsea two young players included in 60-man shortlist for 2020 Golden Boy award

Italian outlet Tuttosport have officially announced the revamped 60-name list of the nominees for this year's edition of the prestigious Golden Boy award.

Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi have been included in the 60-name shortlist for the Golden Boy award.

Since 2003, the title is given to the best Under-21 youngster who plays in the European nation's top tier with Atletico Madrid's midfield sensation Joao Felix winning the award last year.

And while both of our youngsters are truly promising, it's hard to imagine them beating Erling Haaland to the trophy.

Hudson-Odoi, however, has enjoyed a rather impressive season even despite suffering a few injuries. In 33 senior appearances across all competitions this season he scored 3 goals and provided 6 assists.

As for Ampadu, he spent the season on loan at RB Leipzig but much to injuries was reduced to just 7 senior appearances across all competitions.
