Iker Casillas officially announced his retirement from football last Tuesday at the age of 39, 14 months after suffering an unfortunate heart attack.

It remains to be seen what's next for the legendary goalkeeper who is expected to go into coaching or management after establishing himself as one of the sport's finest professionals.

According to DefensaCentral, a tier-three Madrid-based source, Thibaut Courtois has told his closest friends that he would like to see the Spaniard return to Real Madrid. The Belgian is reportedly looking forward to working with his favourite shot-stopper.
