Donny van de Beek set to become Manchester United player by next week

Manchester United could be about to make their first signing of the summer.

Donny van de Beek has reportedly already said goodbye to his teammates at Ajax ahead of the imminent move to Old Trafford.

According to Spanish outlet Diario Sport, the Dutchman is set to fly to England 'next week' where he will be announced as a Manchester United player.

The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Tottenham have also been linked with the the 23-year-old but the midfielder has set his sights on a move to Manchester.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to have played a key role in convincing the Eredivisie star to join the Red Devils, with the Norwegian promising the player a key role in the squad.
