Everton willing to listen to Southampton offer for Kenny

The Daily Star says Southampton have turned down the chance to sign Kenny from Everton this summer after his loan deal with Schalke in Germany expired.

Saints are instead on the verge of signing Kyle Walker-Peters from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

That deal is likely to see midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg go to London from the south coast, a player that Everton, of course, were linked heavily with.

Kenny was wanted back at Schalke for next season, though they couldn't afford Everton's asking price.
