If that makes you happy, then it's fine: Koeman on Suarez's exit as Ajax fan begs him for it
Barca's new coach appears to be open to letting the Uruguayan leave but it could be just a joke.
"If that makes you happy, then it's fine," Ronald Koeman said live on Radio 538 when the hosts asked him to allow Luis Suarez to return to Ajax.
Fabrizio Romano has later quoted the Dutchman, adding that Barcelona want the striker out.
Ronald Koeman about Luis Suarez future: “Suarez back to Ajax? If that makes you happy, than that's fine...”. Keep an eye on the situation of Luis, again. Barça want him out. 🔴 #FCB #Ajax #transfers— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) August 20, 2020
It remains to be seen whether Barca's new head coach really doesn't count on the Uruguayan, something that has been widely reported in the Spanish media recently.
Suarez has been linked with Ajax for a couple of days already with highly reliable Fabrizio Romano and Mike Verweij both confirming this possibility.
The 33-year-old bagged 21 goals and recorded 11 assists last term.
I hope Ajax comes to get Suarez.
