Koeman confirms he will be Barcelona manager by the end of today

Koeman says he didn't expect for the talks with Barcelona to go as fast.

He confirms that there was a clause in his contract with the Dutch national team allowing him to join Blaugrana.

"It is very likely that my signature with Barca will be closed today," Ronald Koeman has told Fox Sports.

"I did not expect things to happen so quickly. It also surprised me, but Barca is the only club that had a clause in my contract with the Dutch Football Association."

Tier 1 source reports that the 57-year-old will be announced as Blaugrana's coach on Tuesday, August 18. The Dutchman will sign a contract for two years.
