Koeman: No one wants a repeat of what happened to the other coaches

Koeman understands that taking over Barca at this moment is a great challenge.

He thinks the squad has enough quality to bring back the good days to Camp Nou.

"It is a day to be very happy, proud. Barca is my home, I will have the opportunity to coach a team like this.

It is a challenge, it is not easy, Barca always demands the maximum and that is how it should be," Ronald Koeman has said during his presentation.

"Changes have to be made. No one wants a repeat of what happened the other day, neither the players nor the club members.

"Barca is still the biggest club in the world. This is a dream come true. Now we are working so that Barca is where it belongs, there is enough quality."

One of the main task ahead of the Dutch player is to clean up the squad. The club is reportedly ready to give him full control over the transfers.
