List of Chelsea players that might leave or loan out before new season start

The Blues are making lots of signings, but they need to replenish the reserves.

The 2020/21 season starts for Chelsea on September 14 when they are visiting Brighton - and we're bound to see several new faces in the team.

There's no secret, however, that Chelsea will need to sell some of their current players and here's who we thinks might be among them.

Emerson: Antonio Conte stays as the Inter Milan manager and has a solid chance to sign the Italy international for the second time.

Tiemoue Bakayoko: The Frenchman's return to AC Milan is almost a done deal, even though it's going to be another loan spell.

Fikayo Tomori: The centre-back is also highly likely to be loaned out, with clubs like Rennes and Everton vying for his signature.

Ross Barkley: With new faces including Ziyech and, as expected, Havertz, the England international would surely struggle for game time, but there are no strong links with any club yet.

Michy Batshuayi: Frank Lampard clearly does not count on the Belgian who'd be fourth in the pecking order for a single No.9 spot, and there are already plenty of suitors.

Jorginho: After Juventus sacked Maurizio Sarri, there's no frontrunner to sign the Chelsea vice-captain. However, Chelsea will likely be open to offers.

Kepa: Another player who fell out of favour with Lampard, the Spain international also a hard sell after his disappointing form last season.
