List of Chelsea players who impressed vs Brighton and those that disappointed

Chelsea had to settle for a 1-1 draw in their first pre-season friendly game against Brighton

Timo Werner - 7/10
It took Werner under four minutes to score his first Chelsea goal with the German calmly putting the ball into the net after Callum Hudson-Odoi fumbled a header.

Hakim Ziyech - 7.5/10
Blues fans will be hoping that Ziyech's injury is nothing serious as the Moroccan appears to be the real deal. It was the winger's masterful cross that set up the goal.

Willy Caballero - 8/10
Caballero looks set to stay as Chelsea's first-choice goalkeeper with Kepa's form showing no signs of improvement. The Argentine's penalty save secured the draw.

Antonio Rudiger - 4/10
Rudiger didn't help his case against Brighton after giving away a penalty 3 minutes after entering the pitch. Thiago Silva should be gunning for the German's place.
