Liverpool sponsor Western Union ends partnership with the English champion.

The club will be looking for a new sponsor but will take their time to consider all options.

Liverpool are 'prepared to start the new season without a sleeve sponsor' after Western Union announced that they decided to end their partnership with the club, according to the Evening Standard.

Their deal was signed back in 2017, and it was understood that it was a five-year agreement worth in total £25m.

However, the American financial services company confirmed that they decided not to continue with the sponsorship beyond the end of this season.

Finding a new partner will be a priority for newly-appointed commercial director Matt Scammell who joined Liverpool after 9 years at Man United.

However, following their success in the Premier League, Liverpool believe they can be patient in the search and add a sleeve sponsor mid-way through the season (if it's allowed by the Premier League).
