Luis Suarez might become Barcelona key to bringing Ajax star Van de Beek

The Dutchman is reportedly excited about the possibility of joining Blaugrana.

Barcelona could accelerate the signing of Ajax's Donny van de Beek by offering Luis Suarez in exchange, Mundo Deportivo report.

If signed separately, it is expected that the 23-year-old would cost the Catalans between €45m and €50m.

However, Mundo Deportivo believe that a €20m plus Suarez bid might go through as Ajax's sporting director Marc Overmars is thrilled about bringing the Uruguayan back.

Besides, Blaugrana could include some of their youngsters in a deal so they would gain experience playing in the Eredivisie.

The only thing lacking is for the 33-year-old to give his 'okay'; the striker has recently revealed that he'd be ready to stay at Camp Nou as a sub.

'El Pistolero' has only one year left of contract but his deal will be automatically extended until 2022 if he plays more than 60% of the matches next season.
