The Ballon d'Or winner believes he can play for two more years.

Luka Modric's contract at Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2021 but the midfielder is confident he has what it takes to play for two more seasons.

According to ABC, the midfielder wants to extend his deal until the end of the 2021/22 campaign and retire at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

The Ballon d'Or winner has used the Covid-19 suspension to work on his match fitness in order to be ready for the next season.

The Croat reportedly believes that by focusing entirely on the Blancos he can remain an important part of the team.
