Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has made a shocking  comeback to football.

The veteran, who is now 39, had retired in July 2019.

But he made an appearance for Brentham FC in non-league football this week.

He was involved in their game against North Greenford United, which they lost 3-2.

Evra is working on his fitness ahead of the Soccer Aid game where England take on a World XI on September 6th.

A Brentham FC spokesman posted wrote on Twitter: "It was a real privilege to have Evra train and play for us.

"He needed some minutes ahead of the Soccer Aid charity match for UNICEF taking place at Manchester United Old Trafford next month."
