Barcelona have entrusted Koeman to clean up the squad.

The Dutchman says he prefers being straightforward with his players.

The coach has reportedly informed Suarez, Vidal, Rakitic and Umtiti that he doesn't count on them.

Meanwhile, Messi, Pique and Alba are set to stay.

"I talked to some players to clear the air," Ronald Koeman has told BarcaTV.

"I'm an organised coach. I like an organised team, and I like to dominate the match. I'm also a realistic manager who relies on the quality of the players.

"I prefer it when the manager is straightforward. I don't talk with players for hours. My message is delivered short and to the point."

It has been reported that the Dutchman wants to get rid of a part of the squad and has already communicated to Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti that they're are not part of his plans at Barcelona.

Meanwhile, seniors like Leo Messi, Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba are set to continue at Camp Nou.
