Not Good for Barca fans: Suarez reveals his idea is to continue at Barcelona

Suarez could leave Camp Nou during the current transfer campaign.

He expects speaking on his future with the ones 'who decide'.

However, he says he still feels that he can be useful to Barca even if he gets benched.

"I want the best for the club and today, my idea is to continue at Barca," Luis Suarez has told El Pais.

"But if the club thinks that I am expendable, I have no problem speaking with those who decide.

"Competition is always good and if the coach considers that I should start from the bench, I have no problem helping with the role they give me. I think I can still contribute a lot to this club," the Uruguayan also added.

Despite the rumours of Ajax preparing a big offer for their former player, their manager, Eric ten Hag, has ruled out this possibility.

Josep Maria Bartomeu didn't include the 33-year-old in the list of 'untouchable' Barca players, however.

Barcelona director Xavi Vilajoana explained that Suarez's future fully depends on Ronald Koeman.

Luis Suarez has had another great season with Blaugrana, netting 21 goals and recording 11 assists in 36 fixtures across all competitions.
