Real Madrid confirms there will be 'no new signings'

Real Madrid are dealing with the impact of the financial crisis caused by Covid-19 and will focus on selling players.

According to Marca, Real Madrid's general manager Jose Angel Sanchez has informed the squad that there will be "no new signings" this transfer window.

The coronavirus pandemic has affected the club's revenue from ticket sales and as a result, there have been some grave repercussions.

Although Madrid are still the most valuable club in the world, the Whites are aiming to raise funds by selling numerous players.

The likes of Brahim Diaz, Luka Jovic, James Rodriguez and more are expected to leave the club before the new season, with Madrid aiming to generate as much as €200m.

Despite being strongly linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe, it looks like we will have to wait until next year for new faces.
