Real Madrid star Eden Hazard revealed he will be judged on his second season

The Belgian is ready to put his past season’s problems behind him heading into the new campaign.

Hazard insists whether he’s been a hit or flop signing for Madrid should be decided after next season.

“I'll be judged by my second season,” Eden Hazard said when speaking about whether he’s been a good or bad signing for Real Madrid after struggling with injuries in his debut campaign for Los Blancos.

The Belgian winger had high expectations after moving from Chelsea but has himself admitted that his first season was a major disappointment at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 29-year-old just couldn’t adapt well enough and failed to keep any consistency last season.

But Hazard’s ability on the pitch is unquestioned and he will be like a new signing for Los Blancos next season if he attains full fitness.

He just needs to stay clear from getting injured and form better chemistry with his teammates to silence his critics next season and help Los Blancos defend their La Liga title.
