Ross County vs Kilmarnock Prediction, Team News and Odds

Ross County vs Kilmarnock predictions ahead of this clash in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night.

Another win for the Staggies?
Ross County have made a perfect start to the new Premiership season, claiming back to back wins. Their early fears of relegation have been slightly eased by that fast start, but can the Staggies maintain it when they take on Kilmarnock this week?

The bookies have already sided against the hosts, backing their fast start to come to an end. However, with Kilmarnock showing little sign that they can pull off a result in this trip, we are taking the value available in our predictions for this clash.

Dyer form
Kilmarnock have been boosted here thanks to their 1-1 draw with Celtic at the weekend. However, even Celtic boss Neil Lennon said that was more down to his own side’s failings. That result followed Killi being dispatched at Hibs in their opener, continuing some poor form.

The visitors went into their clash with Celtic having lost nine of their last 13 games in the Scottish Premiership side Alex Dyer took charge. The club haven’t really moved forward under their current boss, while they’re coming off a dreadful year. Killie had the third-worst away record in the division last season, picking up 10 points from 15 games and losing 11 times.

County looking solid
The hosts have maximum points after consecutive 1-0 wins, while they will be looking to claim another victory having won four of the last six meetings between these two at this ground. With back to back wins we expect the hosts to have confidence, which can’t be said of the visitors.

Killie come here with eight defeats in their last nine trips. They’ve failed to win in seven matches, while their poor record at this ground also counts against them. Given that form we think that Ross County have been overpriced heading into this clash. That has us backing a home win, while another 1-0 victory is our correct score prediction.
