Source: Thiago and Liverpool has reached a four years agreement deal
Mohamed Bouhafsi provides update on the Thiago-to-Liverpool transfer saga.
A rather reliable French journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi claims that Liverpool have agreed personal terms with Thiago Alcantara.
The Spaniard might sign a 4-year contract.
He already announced his departure to England to his Bayern team-mates and found a new house, as per Bouhafsi.
The journalist believes the two clubs now must finalize the transfer.
Agreement between #Liverpool and #Alcantara. Liverpool and the player have reached an agreement over 4 years. The player even announced his departure to England to some of his teammates. Alcantara already found his house. Liverpool and #Bayern must finalize the deal. #RMCsport— Mohamed Bouhafsi (@mohamedbouhafsi) August 16, 2020
It's worth noting, however, that Bouhafsi claimed that Liverpool were in for Nicolas Pepe last summer which, apparently, didn't turn out to be true; any reliable Liverpool journalist (James Pearce, Paul Joyce, etc) is yet to confirm the Reds' taking any concrete actions to sign Thiago.
Either way, the Reds will have to wait until Bayern finish their Champions League campaign, which given their current form might continue right until the final scheduled on August 23.
Meanwhile, the Bavarians are reported to demand at least £27 million for the 29-year-old (some report that the price tag is at £45 million).
