UEFA’s five-year club ranking: Bayern Munich dethrone Real Madrid in first place

Real Madrid have placed in second place in UEFA’s five-year club ranking, rated as per a team’s performance in Europe over the last 5 seasons.

Los Blancos actually have the same coefficient ranking (134) as current Champions League finalists Bayern Munich, but the German club’s better coefficient for this season has them atop of the rankings.

Madrid still sit higher than 3rd place FC Barcelona as well as city rivals Atletico Madrid, who sit on 4th position.

Juventus complete the top-5 as they await their Champions League glory after signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Madrid in 2018.

Incidentally, Sevilla have also earned a place in the top-10, meaning 3 La Liga sides dominate the top club rankings over the last five years.
