Real Madrid star Reguilon sprained left ankle in thrilling Spain win over Ukraine

A bone injury has been ruled out but scans have revealed an external sprain on his left ankle.

According to COPE, scans have confirmed that Sergio Reguilon suffered an external sprain on his left ankle as Spain beat Ukraine 4-0 in the UEFA Nations League.

The left-back was one of the most energetic players throughout the game but towards the latter stages, he twisted his ankle and went down in pain.

Fortunately, a bone injury has been ruled out and Real Madrid's medical services have been informed of the situation by the Spanish FA.

Meanwhile, question marks remain over his future, with several Premier League clubs interested in the 23-year-old.
