It means that the veteran defender will now receive £110,000 per week.

Meanwhile, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Clement Lenglet and Frenkie de Jong have all accepted 30% pay cuts after extending their contracts.

As things stand, other squad members are against the wage reduction.
